Protein Hot Cocoa
There is nothing like a steamy cup of hot cocoa; it’s sweet, comforting and good for the soul! This recipe is made with protein and no added sugar, enjoy this sweet treat guilt free.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened almond milk, vanilla
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 1/2 scoop (20 grams) Chocolate protein powder
- Pinch Salt
- Pinch Cinnamon
- 1 packet (2 teaspoons) Truvia
- Whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
- Warm milk in microwave for 3 minutes. Or warm in a saucepan on the stove.
- Add all ingredients (except the whipped cream) to a protein shaker bottle.
- Shake it up. (The shaker cup eliminates clumps and foams it up a bit.) Be careful not to overly shake, the heat from the milk can cause pressure build up.
- Pour mixed hot cocoa into your favorite mug.
- Top with whipped cream.
