My love for food started at a young age.
Looking back, most of my memories are linked to tasty food. At the age of 16 my curiosity for food really began. Living with just my Dad and wanting to get a fresh meal on the table, I was experimenting in the kitchen daily consuming the Food Network and every cookbook I could get my hands on. Needless to say, I made a lot of terrible food! As I was learning the basics of cooking, I also wanted to explore nutrition. I was a soccer player and quickly learned my performance on the field was directly related to what I was eating. It was the perfect storm, the need to prepare meals for my Dad and I and the desire to perform athletically led me to jump into creating healthy crave-worthy food.
With a Bachelor’s in Nutrition Science as well as an Associate’s in Culinary Arts I merge classic beautiful cooking techniques with wholesome ingredients to create flavor-forward and good-for-you cuisine. I’ve been around the block working as an executive chef at a wellness and weight-loss resort, traveling private chef, and chef consultant. I bring food to life through fresh foods, bold flavors, and classic cooking techniques. I am all about creating a combination of what tastes great, makes us feel good, and inspiring a life that is fulfilling and joyful. Don’t get me wrong, champagne and tacos are allowed.
