Smoked Salmon Pinwheels
These pinwheels are not only super cute they are also a great snack, lunch on the go, or easy appetizer. Salmon is loaded with good-for-you omega 3 fatty acids and protein. Wrapped up with some veggies and herbed cream cheese, your tastebuds and your body will both be delighted.
Smoked Salmon Pinwheels

Ingredients
- 4 ounces Smoked Salmon
- 2 each Tortillas (Mission Carb Balance are tasty)
- 6 tablespoons Cream cheese, low fat
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1/2 cup Cucumbers, julienned
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Dill, fresh, minced
- 1 teaspoon Chives, fresh, minced
- 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl combine: cream cheese, garlic powder, dill, chives, and black pepper.
- Layout both tortillas and evenly spread out the prepared cream cheese on to each tortilla (about 1 1/2 tablespoons per tortilla). Be sure to spread the cream cheese to the edge of the tortilla.
- Evenly distribute the arugula between the two tortillas.
- Then follow with the cucumbers and sliced smoked salmon. (Build it as you would a pizza).
- Tightly roll the tortilla up beginning from the bottom edge nearest you, and roll up carefully. The ingredients will want to pop out, carefully press them down as you roll up.
- Slice each wrap into 4 pieces.
