Ingredients

  • 9 each/142 grams Dates, pitted
  • 29 grams (3/4 cup) Freeze-dried apple
  • 66 grams (1/2 cup) Walnuts
  • 29 grams (1/4 cup) Old fashion oats
  • 23 grams (2 tbs.) Ground flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
  • 60 grams (3 tbs.) Applesauce, unsweetened

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a food processor blend dates.
  3. Add walnuts, oats, flax seeds, cinnamon, and blend until minced.
  4. Add freeze-dried apple and applesauce, pulse until dough forms.
  5. Scoop into 15-gram balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven.
  7. Serve warm or allow to cool.
